The Hill Tribe people skillfully blend embroidery and weaving arts with hand-dyed vibrant fabrics and designs to create distinct styles, with each tribe proudly displaying its unique clothing. This dedication to craft is reminiscent of Royal Thai artisans, who spend decades perfecting the art of creating exquisite hand-tufted rugs and textiles.

With The Tactile Vernacular, we aim to thoughtfully honor our Thai heritage at Royal Thai and bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary aesthetics, breathing new life into hill tribe patterns through reinvention and reimagination. Rather than a mere fusion of styles, these designs represent a meaningful dialogue between past and present, where emotions are woven into threads and every step is a sumptuous journey through varied colors and cultures.

We encourage you to transcend geographic boundaries as you explore these designs, to celebrate our innate desire to adorn and narrate stories. Whether through the delicate dance of needle and thread or the intricate artistry of hand crafting carpets, human creativity is a universal language.
